Figure  2-21.—Three-wire  rhombic  antenna. element arrangement makes possible a radiation pat- tern   resembling   that   of   a   vertically-polarized, omnidirectional  antenna.  Construction  and  installation of  this  antenna  is  complex  because  of  the  physical relationships between the individual elements and the requirement for a separate transmission line for each dipole.  Approximately  2.2  acres  of  land  are  required to  accommodate  the  quadrant  antenna. 2-12
