Carry This
carry is useful when the casualty is only slightly injured.
1.
Lift the casualty off the ground as shown in the first three steps of the
fireman's carry (figs. 10-18 through 10-20).
2.
Grasp the wrist of the casualty's uninjured arm and draw his arm around your
neck (fig. 10-23).
3.
Let the casualty walk using you as a crutch.

1.

2. Position
your arms on the casualty, as shown in figure 10-24, and lift him into your
arms.
3.
Carry the casualty high to lessen fatigue.
