EFFECTIVE DOWNWIND DIRECTION. To determine the effective downwind direction (EDD), you must determine the sector angle formed between the radial lines GZ-CT and GZ-2/3 S and ground zero. If the angle is 40 degrees or greater, EDD is obtained by bisecting the angle.
